What is airball.gg?

airball.gg is a free daily NBA trivia site for basketball fans. Every day at midnight, six brand-new games go live — each one testing a different slice of your NBA knowledge. Think of it like Wordle, but for hoops.

Whether you're a casual fan who watches a few games a week or a die-hard who can name every Finals MVP since 1969, there's a game for you. Our puzzles cover everything from career stats and draft history to awards, team affiliations, and obscure records.

The Games

Six games, six different ways to test your basketball IQ. Each game is designed to challenge a specific type of knowledge:

• Top 10 Quiz — You're given an all-time stat category like career points or assists. Name the top 10 players on the leaderboard before your guesses run out. Tests your knowledge of NBA stat leaders across every era.
• NBA Bingo — A 4×4 board of category tiles like “Won MVP” or “Played for the Lakers.” Match the right player to each tile to clear the board. Every wrong guess costs you, so be strategic.
• Higher or Lower — Two players, one stat. Guess whether the second player's career number is higher or lower. Build a streak of correct answers — one wrong and it's over.
• Who Am I? — A mystery player hides behind six progressive clues. Each clue gets more specific. The fewer clues you need, the higher your score. Can you guess on clue one?
• Connections — 16 NBA players are on the board. Sort them into four hidden groups of four. Find the connection — same team, same award, same draft class — before your lives run out.
• 2 Truths 1 Lie — Three statements about an NBA player. Two are true, one is a lie. Sounds easy until you're debating whether someone made All-Defensive First or Second Team.

How It Works

All six games reset at midnight in your local timezone. Everyone gets the same puzzles on the same day, which means you can compare results with friends without spoiling the answers. Play one game or play all six — it's up to you.

No downloads, no apps, no subscriptions. Just open airball.gg in your browser and start playing. The site works on phones, tablets, and desktops.

Streaks & Stats

Create a free account to unlock stat tracking across all six games. Your dashboard shows your win rates, average scores, current streaks, and best streaks for each game. Stats sync across devices, so you can play on your phone during lunch and check your stats on your laptop later.

Streaks are the heartbeat of airball.gg. Play every day to keep your streak alive — miss a day and it resets. The longer your streak, the more bragging rights you earn.

Locker Rooms

Want to compete with friends? Create or join a Locker Room — a private group where you can see each other's scores, compare streaks, and talk trash. Invite up to 25 friends with a share code and see who really knows their basketball.

Past Games

Missed a day? You can play previous puzzles anytime. Past games don't count toward your streak or leaderboard stats, but they're a great way to practice and catch up on what you missed.

Who Built This?

airball.gg is built by a small team of NBA fans who wanted a quick, fun way to test basketball knowledge every day. We hand-craft new puzzles daily, verify every stat and fact, and are always adding new features and game modes.

The site launched in 2025 and has been growing ever since. Our goal is simple: be the best daily basketball trivia experience on the internet.
